With over 80 years of combined experience in our respective fields, we are smart enough to know what we don't know, humble enough to ask for help, and hungry enough to learn. We are a diverse team of professionals who love the tax industry!

Who You Are

You are a reliable, smart, customer-focused Tax Specialist with at least 2 seasons of experience preparing income tax returns. You have a high degree of confidentiality and are exceedingly trustworthy. You ask for help when you don't know something because accuracy is important to you. You value learning and keep up-to-date on the latest tax law changes. Last, but not least, you love taxes!

What You Will Do for Us

  • Prepare tax returns.

  • Build rapport with clients.

  • Answer client tax questions.

  • Explain tax return to the client.

  • Verify the accuracy of tax returns.

  • Maintain due diligence, ethics, and tax law update credentials.

  • Maintain continuing education credentials (if applicable).

  • Have a positive attitude, a can-do work ethic, be an eager learner, work effectively as a team member, dress professionally and appropriately, and be punctual.

  • Follow instructions from supervisor promptly and accurately.

  • Maintain client confidentiality.

  • Adhere to company policies.

  • Communicate with clients and coworkers in a polite and respectful tone.

  • Greet clients with a smile and eye contact.

  • Notify supervisor when supplies become low (not when they run out).

  • Assist other Tax Preparers.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Personal Conduct and Appearance

  • Professional appearance is mandatory.

  • Clothing to be clean and free of odor and holes.

  • No gauges, hoop earrings, or facial jewelry while on the job.

  • Personal hygiene is required (no offensive odors, including marijuana, tobacco, excessive perfume/cologne).

  • Communicate with coworkers and clients in a professional and respectful manner.

  • Cell phone usage (talking or texting) will not be allowed while on the job (except for emergencies).

  • No drugs or alcohol will be tolerated while at work.
